Off the Rails - Fabric Challenge!

Hi everyone! Back again today (I know, so soon!) to share my latest DT layout for Off the Rails. The new challenge is to use fabric on your project. Fabric can be great for adding texture to a LO, and for my sample I managed to incorporate it in a few different ways.

Here is my layout...

To cover the challenge criteria, I used some crochet doilies & gauze to add texture to my background; then included a fabric covered button, handmade rolled fabric rose, and a corduroy flower in my embellishments. And yes, that is Heidi Swapp you spy again - patterned paper, title and acrylic shapes are all from the "Dreamy" collection. (Expect to see more of this at a later date, I still have lots left! hehe)

Here are some close-ups..

{Corduroy flower and heart pin from Maya Road; pink check fabric button from Lovelybug bits n Bobs}

{Love candy embellishment from Burdy's Embellies}

{Flair badge from Flutterby Designs; gold sequins from Lovelybug Bits n Bobs}

{My handmade rolled fabric rose; assorted flowers from Wild About Scrap and D-lish Scraps}

{So many layers! The cute little resin rainbow is from Lovelybug Bits n Bobs}

I would love to see YOUR take on this challenge at Off the Rails, there are so many ways you can easily incorporate fabric into your projects. The winner will be awarded a Designer Hot Spot - a chance to be featured on the OTR blog.
Thanks for popping in! X
